The second important precept is similar to the first. We will answer one of the greatest questions in Christiantiy.

What is God's will?

While there may be many areas of God's will we need to understand in life, they all pale in comparison and are completely subject to the greater imperative of God's primary will for mankind.

That may sound pretty immense, but relax. You don't need to climb the highest mountain to find the God's will guru, spend years on your knees in tears or sort through the millions of hits you'll get from an internet search. Its right there on 'Page One' of your Bible.

Then God said, "Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; let them have dominion..." Genesis 1:26

God's will for mankind ... every man, woman and child on the planet, is to be in His image, after His likeness and to have dominion. The Genesis account puts the works of God's hands under man's dominion. And scripture makes it abundantly clear that God desires for us to have dominion in ALL our affairs of life.

Every 'subcategory' of God's will regarding man is founded on this ... His primary will for us.

I'm sure some readers have that deer in the headlights look right now. 'That's it ... God's will?'

Yes! That's it! 

Of course we will expand this more as we progress. But to establish the precept in its order of importance, it needs to fit right here. 

Our first glance at the bigger picture reveals mature believers ... In His image, after his likeness and walking in dominion in all our affairs of life.
