Personally, I believe we are nearing the end and perhaps more quickly than we might think. But to quote Twila Paris, "This is no time for fear, This is a time for faith and determination".
A quick look at any study of the coming apocalypse and tribulation is enough to weaken any heart. Its going to get bad, then its going to get worse and then it will seem like all hell broke loose on the earth. Literally billions of people will suffer horrific catastrophes and be killed. But even though I'm talking about the end times, I really want to talk about something more relevant.
Whether or not we're on the threshold of the apocalypse, times are definitely challenging. The most relevant thing we can ever talk about is Jesus. And no matter what our circumstances are we can take comfort in Him, rest in His peace and abide under the blessed protection of His dominion.
Some are looking for the rapture, while others don't think it will play out that way. Many are spending their time trying to prove which is right to persuade people to follow along with their beliefs. But how relevant is all of that...really?
I believe its time for us to "Arise, shine; for your light has come! And the glory of the LORD is risen upon you. For behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and deep darkness the people; but the LORD will arise over you, and His glory will be seen upon you. The nations shall come to your light, and kings to the brightness of your rising." Isaiah 60:1-3
The whole world is trembling, and men's hearts are failing them for fear. They are drowning in darkness and without the light of His glory in our lives, who will they turn to?
This is no time to fear the darkness. Its time to shine!
"Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven." Matthew 5:16
And if the darkness has you on the run, and you don't know the goodness of God's love, a whole new life is available to you. You can start it right now, right here.
